Company Values
Our values not only exemplify what we do, but who we are. While these values are not all encompassing, they are a brightly lit gateway into the world of a healthy workplace community. Here in the Life-Balance By Design community we value people first, and roles second. We come together under a shared understanding that health is wealth, and we’re here to support both.

Integrity
Integrity is at the heart of everything we do. This value provides the foundation for us to operate not only as a company, but as individuals. We can proudly say we are part of the Life-Balance By Design community and know that encompasses so much more than “just another job”.
When we see something, we say something, regardless of the specific task at hand. We understand the gravity of making a commitment and we strive to fulfill it to the best of our ability.
Authenticity
Authenticity sounds simple, but truly empowers the freedom to fully express who we are – without the mask of projected professionalism. While we always show appreciation and respect, we also receive it in kind just because we exist.
There are no mountains to climb, no set of milestones to achieve to earn the respect of our peers. We continually encourage different ideas as we celebrate all cultures, backgrounds, and integrative perspectives in the Auxly community.
Empathy
Empathy is key to any relationship, including in our healthy workplace community. We genuinely ask for clarification from a place of curiosity, as opposed to waiting for an opening to prove our point. We strive to understand all angles of an issue, and see any topic as an opportunity to work as a team to find the solution.
We are not pitted against each other, as our team understands we are all correct – it’s just a matter of perspective. While there are many pathways towards reaching a destination, we openly discuss the pros and cons of each so everyone feels heard and involved.
Resiliency
While this may seem counterintuitive towards streamlined workflows, resiliency is critical in agile implementation. As we all know, not everything goes according to plan. Resiliency is on par with flexibility with an added flare of strength and stability.
We bend, but never break. While issues will inevitably arise, we have the support of each other and the inner strength not to take anything personally, which enables us to focus on what really matters.
Communication
Communication is the core of our every operation. While this value is fairly straightforward, it’s important for us to understand that the type of communication is just as important, if not more so, than the act itself.
We speak respectfully, and from a standpoint of “I” as opposed to the commonly used “You”. This allows us to express ourselves fully, authentically and opens the door for empathy. With compassionate communication, we are able to work together in a collaborative and energetic environment.
Self-care
No one can pour from an empty cup. We need to take care of ourselves before we can provide any value to anything or anyone else. This requires balance in all areas of our lives. We are fully committed to a healthy workplace community, as we see each other as people first, and roles second.
Rather than a production line of job descriptions, we see all facets of our team members, which allows us to honor all our values. This prevents a “plug-and-play” mentality and allows us to be fully present – both on and off the clock.
